Where to Travel For the Summer

It’s springtime! While it still may not feel like it yet, warmer weather is just around the corner, and with that warm weather means vacations and traveling galore. I’m a major proponent of traveling, either domestically or internationally. With summer rapidly approaching, I thought it might be a good idea to list a few destinations that are sure to offer some fantastic experiences for those of you looking to go somewhere new.

With an exotic name like Zanzibar, it must be an incredibly expensive adventure, right? Wrong! A flight from Tanzania to Zanzibar is usually around $100, and the area features several affordable housing options. You may want to utilize popular sharing economy apps like Airbnb for great deals on hotels. Zanzibar is also chock full of glorious vistas of crystal clear water and white beaches. Either relax on the warm beaches or visit the various historic centers around the area; it’s your choice! Regardless of what you do, you’re sure to have a great time.

Naples, Italy

Have you ever wanted to visit Italy, but felt that it was too expensive? Well, a trip to Naples might be exactly what you need. With most ticket prices starting at approximately $1,000, Naples is a great opportunity to visit Europe. Notably, Naples also features a bevy of landmarks to explore, and seeing as how it is one of Europe’s oldest cities, it has endless amounts of historical sites and culture that any traveler would love to take in. Naples is also the birthplace of pizza; what better place to get a slice than the city that started it all?

Santa Fe, New Mexico

For those looking for a domestic getaway, look no further than Santa Fe, New Mexico. At over 400-years-old, Santa Fe is absolutely full of history and culture. The city is a popular arts destination, boasting a whopping 300 art galleries that showcase traditional art projects. Enjoy the local cuisine at the Farmer’s Market or simply go on a walking tour of the city and take in all of its natural and historic beauty.

Summer is coming up quickly and it’ll be here before you know it. If any of these locations seem ideal for you, start planning your trip now. Good luck and have a great summer.
